How long have you been a member of Menapians AC : 13 years, since I started athletics in April 2007
Interests & achievements outside athletics : Outside athletics I like to cook and watch all sports especially rugby and American football. Getting my Masters in S&C and Biomechanics was a big achievement for me.
Events you have competed at : Thanks to the league everything Every sprint distance and quite a lot of field events with some long distance thrown in for good measure.
Favourite event : 200m
Least favourite event : High jump
Biggest athletics achievement : Representing Ireland multiple times (including captaining Irish University Team), also National Club Relay Record
Other athletics achievements : Multiple National medals from juvenile through to senior level, being the Menapians Track Captain and most appearances for AIT at varsities.
Do you hold any records : Used to have the National Club 4x200m until recently
Favourite moment of your athletic career : I don’t think I could pick one thing but running on various relay teams over the years is always fun (club, college, county, provincial and national teams)
Favourite track you have competed on : Oordegem, Belgium
Least favourite track : Magherafelt Indoor track
Who has been your inspiration both in athletics & outside athletics : In athletics Allyson Felix and Paul Hession, outside of it my parents.
Favourite food/drink : Pizza / water
Post training snack : Banana and mixed nuts
Some unusual facts about yourself : I can name all 50 American states in less than 2 minutes.
