Married\Single\Kids : Married for 20 years to Eamonn, 3 children Amy Therese, Oliver &Michael.

How long have you been a member of Menapians AC ? : I joined in 2006 - 14 years now !

Interests/ Achievements outside athletics : Enjoyed a 6 week adults sailing course where I learned how to rig sail and de-rig a sailing boat - great fun but I would say I would have prefered to have completed the course in the Summer time !!

Events you have competed at : So many over the years ! 5kms fun runs, 5 miles, 10kms races, half marathon in Wexford, Goal mile in Wexford on St Stephens Day, Team events, Enniscorthy Strawberry Half Marathon, Winter League races in driving rain,wind & muck and the 5kms Muckfest in Carlow. 200m race in Nenagh Co. Tipp, 3000m Walking race in Morton Stadium.

Favourite event : I think it was my first cross country with Helen Sinnott and Catherine O'Connor. A man with a sign to a field directed us to another field to park and we asked where the changing rooms were!! No reply from the man but a lovely broad smile. We found fairly quickly it was change in the car - run the race, long grass, jump the cow pats, pools of water, mucked up to the eye balls !!!Happy memories and I still laugh about it now.

Post training snack : I love cheese + crackers , and pasta, fruit.

Comments : Menapians Social events are great fun, Gravity in Courtown (2012 I think) and a kayaking outing in Edermine a few yaers ago. My 3 children have enjoyed athletics and I would say I was delighted to have the opportunity to complete my Level 1 Athletics Course in Rathangan 2009 so I could coach them and be part of the Menapians team as a qualified coach and parent.

Favourite place to run/train : It's got to be Curracloe Beach and forest. So many different sessions, hills, sprints, forest runs, circuits sessions and a swim !
