Biggest athletics achievement : Doing the Dublin women's mini marathon in 57'30” one year and finishing in the top 2000
Other athletics achievements : Have done three half marathons.
Do you hold any records : No, apart from the ones I put on the stereo!!
Favourite moment of your athletic career : Finishing the mini marathon in Dublin once and meeting my daughter afterwards to find she had done it as well, never thought for a minute she would do it but was so pleased she did.
Favourite track you have competed on : Never run on a track before.
Least favourite track : As above
Who has been your inspiration both in athletics & outside athletics : In athletics it would be Mo Farah, my running idol and was lucky to see him running in London in 2017 at the world athletics championships, the noise at the finish was unbelievable. Outside athletics it would be my grandmother who lived to 101 and lived at home up to a few weeks before she died.
Favourite food/drink : Favourite food, tough one, like a lot of different food, Chinese, Italian, good old fashioned roast beef or pork with crackling, hard to pick one. Don't drink alcohol so favourite drink would be a nice cup of coffee.
Post training snack : Ruby grapefruit always goes down well.
Some unusual facts about yourself : My husband says everything about me is unusual, deal with him later!! Apparently in years gone by my grandfather used to sell second hand coffins, never heard what he did with the first occupants, that unusual enough???
