On Saturday the 14th of January the junior and U23 National Indoor Competition took place at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena and the club interest was on the weight for distance event with Sarah Louise Carr competing.

Sarah threw a fantastic 5.46m and was duly rewarded with a second place Silver medal. We believe (but unconfirmed) that this is the clubs first National junior womens indoor throws medal at the National Indoors.

Currently running in UCD colours Roisín O'Reilly was competing over 1500m. As always she left nothing behind and a superb run saw her claim 3rd place for a national bronze.
