The National Juvenile Championships Days 2 & 3
The National Juvenile Championships Days 2 & 3 saw the Athletic Brothers Lucas & Elijah Page Redmond competing on both days in Tullamore. These two athletes are very dedicated putting in the training required for their events.
On Saturday Lucas was 5th in his 100m heat in 12.24 and was also busy in the triple jump, jumping really consistently with a best on the day of 10.63m which improves his PB from 10.35m a massive improvement.
Elijah coincidently ran the same time of 12.24 in his 100m heat finishing 5th.
Onto Sunday and day 3 saw both brothers competing over 200m.
Lucas ran 25.04 for 6th place in his heat.
Elijah ran 25.23 for 3rd in his Heat which qualified him for the final. He then ran 25.51 in the final which gave him a 7th place in the Nationals.
Huge well done to both Lucas & Elijah. A big thanks to their coaches and to their parents for having them competition ready and also getting them to Tullamore to compete.
